Bruce is a black and tan Australian Shepherd mix around 2 years old and 72 pounds. Are you an active, adventurous human looking for the perfect canine sidekick? Bruce is your guy!

Hiking in Lake Tahoe or Joshua Tree National Park? Done! Hitting the beach for a long run by the water? Absolutely! Road trip to San Diego for fish tacos? Perfect weekend! Kicking back at a winery after a long day of hiking? He's there (Bruce prefers water to Pinot, but you get the idea). Whatever adventure you dream up, he is up for it and ready to go.

As a bonus, at the end of a long, exciting day, this sweet heartbreaker gives the BEST snuggles and snores and loves to gaze at his friends with his gorgeous blue and brown eyes.

Bruce has come a very long way in a short time, and he is ready for his forever companions. He'd love a home where life includes adventure - either as the only 4-legged companion or with another large, friendly dog to play with during the downtime.

While he needs a few moments to get to know new people, once he has been properly introduced, Bruce is everybody's forever pal. He'd love to be your forever friend, too!

Bruce is currently receiving a monthly allergy shot as well as an anti-anxiety medication that he takes easily with his food. Both are helping him to enjoy his life as a loved and healthy family member. Adopters will need to work with their veterinarian to ensure continuation of these important medications for Bruce.

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
