I don't think we've ever seen such a ridiculously cute pooch! Kaya's a pint-sized pup- only about 26 pounds, though her fluff makes her look a little bit bigger. She's shy around people and needs help with boosting her confidence. Her housetraining is still a work in progress. She does well with other dogs and her ideal home would contain a playful doggie pal for her! She has not had significant exposure to cats or kids, but we suspect she may do well with respectful older children and/or dog-savvy cats. 

She's working on her crate training and leash manners, but she's getting better with each day! Her foster family reports that she's a quick study, picking up basic commands as quickly as they can teach them!

Kaya's new family should be active and engaged with her. She'd thrive in a home where her energy and intelligence are funneled into a constructive goal. 

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
