My Life Starts Now: Bear was adopted from the shelter in early 2022, but returned 4 months later because a landlord decided he could not stay. We don't know all the circumstances of what happened, or why Bear landed in the shelter at all, but we do know that he is loved by all of the shelter staff and volunteers and they are all very happy he is safely in an SV Pet Project foster home! Bear's foster family love senior Shepherds and they are familiar with the nerve condition that hampers some of his ability to walk. We are so happy this lovely senior dog is at last safe in a loving foster home where we can get to know him and give him the soft landing he deserves.
Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
