She's a whole lot to love! At 100+ pounds, Sable can look intimidating, but mostly she just wants you to rub her tummy. She seems a little worried about men approaching her foster home, so we're looking for a dog-savvy and thoughtful home for her who is knowledgeable of this breed of dog.

She gets along well with cats and largely ignores other dogs. She's low-key, non-destructive, and housetrained! Busy homes with lots of people coming and going aren’t the best fit for her. She’s not appropriate for homes with small children.

Do you need a mellow and wooly beast to keep you grounded? She may be the pooch for you!

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
