Gentle and Friendly
Adaline is a 6 year-old, 65 pound Pitbull mix. Adaline is a perfect low rider pibble with a sweet disposition and gorgeous, soulful eyes.
Adi loves everyone, gives kisses and licks, is very curious, sweet, and loves car rides. She is very happy deconstructing her stuffed animals, going for walks and sniffing, playing with dogs, and looking for and chasing squirrels and mice. She enjoys rear end scritches and playing fetch (as long as you have a treat to trade her for the toy!).
Adi is a great friend to take on adventures to outside seated restaurants, drive-in movies and the hardware store. She knows sit, down, look, stay, and come. When she gets excited she makes a cute snorting pig noise!
On walks, Adi loves to use her nose to explore her world. She is trained to wear a Halti, and walks beautifully next to her person when needed.
Adaline struggles a bit with anxiety. The shelter was very difficult for her, but she does very well in a stable, quiet home and benefits from anti-anxiety medication. We highly recommend working with a high quality vet and trainer to help Adi continue making progress with this challenge.
She is a wonderful companion and would make an amazing addition to any home!
