Puzzle is a 1.5 year-old, 25 pound, neutered Border Collie mix. Sweet Puzzle had a rough time in the shelter. He was losing weight, not eating, and had chronic stomach upset. Although the shelter had done lots of tests, nothing significant could be found, and he needed a rescue to provide more testing and support.

After more testing and just a change of food and regular probiotic, Puzzle is doing great! We expect he will need to stay on a special diet for the rest of his life, but otherwise he is a happy, healthy young dog!

Puzzle currently lives with both larger and smaller dogs and has gotten along well with every dog he meets. He rides well in the car, is house trained, and walks beautifully on leash.

While he can be nervous in a busy setting, Puzzle looks to his humans for comfort. With a slow approach by new people, he quickly settles into a lap and gives the sweetest kisses!

Puzzle had a rough 6 months in shelter life, but he is now ready and waiting for a forever home of his own where he can relax, settle in and blossom!

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
