Become A Foster Parent

UPDATE: 3/31/2020 - Given the extreme volume of foster applications we have received in the past couple of weeks, we are no longer accepting new dog foster applications at this time. We will accept cat/kitten foster applications for individuals who have experience with bottle feeding or want to foster an adult cat.

SVPP is working closely with the local shelters and they have very few pets in need at this time. This situation is being monitored closely and may change.

Thank you for your compassion for homeless pets in our community.

One of our most pressing needs is to find great foster homes for our rescue pets.

Becoming a foster parent for SVPP means you will care for an animal in your home for a temporary period of timeWithout a facility, we can't save the lives of pets at risk in our local shelter without you — our foster families.

In return for your loving care, we provide donated food, supplies, and medical care as well as great marketing support to help in securing a great forever home for your pet. We will pair you up with a "buddy" who will get answers to your questions and make sure you feel supported all along the foster journey.
