New Pet

Things you need to know to prepare for your new furry friend

Choosing a Pet
You decided to add a kitty companion to your household - congratulations! What should you look for to choose the best match for your home?
Expectations/First Day
You may have been thinking about bringing home a new friend for a while but your new cat may be surprised by the sudden change in their life. Being in a new place can be scary, even for the most confident cat; there are lots of new sights, sounds, and smells to get used to. You can set up your kitty to feel safe and confident about their new home.
Kitten Socialization
Socialization means exposing a young kitten to different people, sights, sounds, experiences, and places in a controlled, positive way. This process sets the youngster up to be more confident and tolerant as an adult.
